Our client is looking for an experienced AV Construction / Project Manager to deliver complex, large-scale audiovisual systems within major construction projects. This role sits at the intersection of construction management, technical AV delivery, and project coordination, ensuring seamless integration of AV systems into landmark environments such as museums, football stadiums, arenas, and other large public venues.
You will work closely with general contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal engineering teams, and play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with German construction law and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Construction Management
* Manage the AV scope within large construction projects from design coordination through installation, commissioning, and handover
* Act as the main point of contact between AV teams, construction partners, and external stakeholders
* Coordinate AV installation activities within overall construction schedules
* Ensure proper integration of AV systems with electrical, IT, architectural, and structural trades
Technical Oversight
* Oversee installation of complex AV systems, including:
* Large-format LED walls and projection systems
* Sound reinforcement and distributed audio systems
* Control and automation systems
* Venue-wide communication and broadcast-related systems (where applicable)
* Review and coordinate technical drawings, schematics, and shop drawings
* Support system testing, commissioning, and final acceptance
Compliance & Documentation
* Ensure compliance with German construction law and frameworks (e.g. VOB, HOAI, DIN standards)
* Support contract administration and AV-related documentation
* Manage variations, change requests, and site-related issues affecting the AV scope
* Ensure adherence to site health & safety requirements
Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination
* Coordinate AV manufacturers, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Manage procurement schedules and equipment deliveries
* Lead and participate in site meetings and progress reviews
* Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and milestones
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience delivering large-scale Pro AV installations (e.g. museums, stadiums, arenas, major public or commercial buildings)
* Strong understanding of construction site workflows and processes
* Knowledge of German construction law and standards (VOB, HOAI, DIN)
* Experience coordinating with general contractors, architects, consultants, and authorities
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and AV technical documentation

* AVIXA CTS / CTS-D or comparable certifications
