Your tasks
8. Planning, implementation and documentation of product-related security tests and penetration tests with a special focus on network technology and embedded devices (e.g. routers, switches).
9. Analysis of network vulnerabilities and security gaps at protocol and operating system level of the devices to be tested.
10. Detailed investigation of the functioning of security mechanisms, such as firewalls, Transport Layer Security (TLS) tunnels and integrity protection.
11. Creating reports on vulnerabilities found and working closely with the development teams to fix these flaws.
12. Advising the development teams on best practices and the implementation of robust security concepts.
Your profile
13. Sound and in-depth know-how in the field of IT security, in particular network security.
14. Proven expertise and practical experience in conducting network penetration tests.
15. In-depth understanding of the internal workings of network components (such as firewalls) at operating system level, including knowledge of where the typical vulnerabilities lie.
16. Excellent knowledge of Transport Layer Security (TLS) tunnels and how they work.
17. Understanding and practical experience with integrity protection concepts.
18. High level of personal responsibility, analytical thinking and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new, complex systems.
19. Very good knowledge of German and English.
