Doing good on behalf of the state: As an independent assessment service, we, the Medical Service of Lower Saxony, support and advise statutory health insurance and social care insurance providers on all medical and care-related issues. Whether the quality of care facilities or care services needs to be assessed, treatment errors are suspected, or questions about new treatment methods need to be independently evaluated: we are there. Your responsibilities
* Management and development of the IT division with several teams in accordance with the strategic framework for IT operations and application management, IT asset and infrastructure management, IT project management, IT procurement, and the IT service desk.
* Consolidating the IT and transformation division, migrating system landscapes, and implementing industry software. Building an AI-enabled cloud infrastructure and modernizing central IT services (e.g., M365). Managing the budget, costs, and procurement of a public institution and controlling external service providers.
* Representing the IT division in internal and external committees (including at the federal level). Disciplinary and technical management of your employees as well as control of personnel planning, recruitment, development, and retention.
What you bring to the table
* Successfully completed academic university degree (master's) in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field of study.
* Several years of disciplinary management experience across multiple levels, as well as experience in personnel and budget planning and controlling.

Remuneration is based on the collective agreement for medical services (TV MD) up to pay grade 16, provided the requirements are met.
