In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing data center infrastructure to ensure high availability and operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support critical SRE operations, follow best practices, and contribute to the reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities
* Install and configure new servers, network devices, and other hardware within data center racks, including cabling and power connections.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to servers, network devices, cooling systems, and power supplies.
* Maintain data center security, including access controls and physical security measures, to protect sensitive information.
* Manage hardware and supply shipments, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
* Utilize DevOps tools such as GitLab to perform operational tasks.
* Write scripts to interact with APIs and automate workflow tasks.
* Maintain detailed records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
* May require travelling up to 20% domestically and internationally.
Required Skills:
* Technical expertise: Strong understanding of server hardware, networking protocols, operating systems, and data center infrastructure.
* Linux administration: Experience in Linux system administration, including basic troubleshooting of OS issues.
* Networking knowledge: Basic understanding of networking concepts; CCNA or CCNP certification is highly desirable.
* Troubleshooting skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
* Physical requirements: Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20kg (40lbs).
* Physical dexterity: Comfort with handling delicate hardware and working in confined spaces.
* Attention to detail: Ability to follow procedures carefully and identify potential issues.
* Problem-solving abilities: Strong analytical skills to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
* Teamwork and communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams to coordinate maintenance and resolve issues.
* Hardware knowledge: Basic understanding of computer hardware and components, plus experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
