You'll work at the interface of cutting-edge quantum hardware and software, helping to build one of the first commercial quantum computers from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain quantum control software to operate and calibrate large-scale quantum processors.Design robust software interfaces between quantum hardware, control electronics, and high-performance classical computation platforms.Collaborate closely with quantum physicists, experimentalists, and hardware engineers to integrate and optimize end-to-end system performance.Contribute to the development of automation, diagnostics, and error mitigation routines for real-time quantum system control.Implement scalable quantum programming interfaces and support benchmarking and quantum algorithm testing.Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and agile development practices.Your ProfileA Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.Strong programming skills in Python and/or Rust, with an emphasis on systems or scientific computing.Experience in control systems, embedded software, or real-time applications.Familiarity with quantum computing concepts or quantum software stacks (e.g. Qiskit, Cirq, QuTiP, etc.) is highly desirable.Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and modern software engineering practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional R&D environment.Fluent in English (German is a plus, but not required).Following your application Jake Phillips, a specialist recruiter will discuss the opportunity with you in detail.
