Responsibilities:
The Service Technician will:
1. Install and Commission Equipment: Set up new equipment and provide technical training to operating personnel.
2. Maintenance and Calibration: Fulfill all tasks according to maintenance contracts, ensuring customer equipment is well-maintained and calibrated.
3. Repair Services: Conduct repairs both on-site at customer locations and at our facility.
4. Customer Support: Offer competent support to customers and distributors, addressing technical issues, application queries, device handling, software, and other technical problems, both on-site and remotely via email, phone, or remote access (TeamViewer).
5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation and reporting of services provided.
6. Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with internal sales and distribution teams.
7. Conduct Training: Independently implement customer training courses.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
8. Completed training as an electrical engineering technician or a degree in electrical engineering.
9. Proven experience in technical customer service.
10. Proficiency with common MS Office programs and familiarity with ERP systems (AX experience is a plus).
11. Fluent in both German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
12. A diligent and proactive work ethic, strong communication skills and a desire to provide service of the highest level to our internal and external customers.
13. A willingness to travel through Europe – predominantly Germany but other countries where required. No weekend work is required.
14. A valid class B driver's license. A company car is part of the package.
