What you'll need to succeed
* Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field of study
* Strong interest and methodological knowledge in Industrial Engineering
* Proficient in software development with Java and Kotlin
* Experienced in building solutions using the Spring Framework
* Solid knowledge in modeling relational databases (e.g. SQL, JPA, Hibernate)
* Enjoyment in the precise technical elaboration of complex process descriptions and customer requirements
* Excellent communication and presentation skills – combined with empathy and assertiveness
* Practical experience in agile project work (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
Nice To Have
* Data analytics skills with a focus on SQL and R (ETL, visualization, modeling)
* Strong aesthetic and functional understanding of UX and UI design
* Basic knowledge of frontend development with Angular
What you'll do
* You take on the technical conception and architecture of exciting projects in the field of production control and optimization, developing sustainable solutions that support our customers in their day-to-day manufacturing operations.
* Working closely with project management, the development team, and customers, you translate business requirements into viable technical solution concepts and accompany their implementation.
* Another key aspect of your role is the design and development of extensions for simulation and forecasting models that contribute to the optimization of material flow control.
* You specify work packages, conduct internal reviews, and ensure the technical quality of the deliverables.
* You actively share your knowledge within the team and support new colleagues during onboarding to foster knowledge transfer and collaboration.
* In addition, you contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and best practices, helping to advance our way of working.
