Yard Operations Manager
We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the day-to-day operations in our yards. As a Yard Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of trucks in and out of our facilities, prioritizing on-time performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
* Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient processes to enhance yard operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with site leadership, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
* Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess yard performance, analyzing metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve structural issues affecting yard operations, working closely with multiple stakeholders to drive resolution.
* Lean Tools Implementation: Leverage Lean tools and methodologies to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve overall efficiency.
