As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you are a vital engine of our growth strategy. You are far more than a lead administrator: you are a strategic bridge builder between Marketing and Sales.
In this role, you take the lead: you handle incoming sales calls for your region with confidence and manage the Salesforce lead queue with precision. Your sharp intuition helps you qualify leads into high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), ensuring a seamless handover to the sales team. You are passionate about discovering new business opportunities, proactively activating partners, and fueling our sales pipeline with premium contacts to reach the next level together.
The missions for the role are the following:
1. Active Lead Qualification:Youdon'tjust scan the Salesforce lead queue – you evaluate it with an eye for genuine potential (quality over quantity).
2. Proactive Market Development:You lead professional inbound and outbound conversations to reactivate inactive partners or end customers and tap into unused market segments.
3. Digital Pioneer:Youleveragemodern tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator,webinarplatforms, and AI-driven applications to efficiently generate and convert leads.
4. Close Collaboration:You work together with Inside Sales Account Managers (ISAMs) to constantlyoptimizethe quality of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
5. Showing Presence:Occasionally, youaccompanythe sales team to trade fairs or key partner meetings to experience the market firsthand.
6. Salesforce Expert:Youmaintaindata with precision, act as an internal Super-User for the Middle Europe team and actively share best practices within the EMEA SDR network.
7. Continuous Development:You regularlyparticipatein (technical) trainings at the Axis Communications Academy to keep yourexpertiseup to date.
8. Culture Ambassador: You embody the Axis corporate culture and consistently apply the Axis Sales Methodology (ASM) to ensure the success of your appointments and calls. (The ASM framework will be introduced to you as part of youronboardingprocess.)
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You bring a strongpassion for technologyand a clearsales mindset,thriving in focused,goal‑orientedconversations across phone, email, and occasionalin‑personmeetings. As a confidentcommunicatorwith a friendly, professional presence, you learn quickly,graspingtechnical topics, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office with ease. With aservice‑orientedapproach,you work collaboratively with both customers and colleagues.
Besides from this,we’dlove to hear from you if you have/are:
9. 2 + years of experience in a similar position
10. Experience and knowledge in IT (the security industry is a big advantage)
11. Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
12. Experience working with CRM (Salesforce is preferred)
13. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
14. Hunter and sales-driven personality
15. Friendly and open character
16. Fluent in German and English, written and spoken(additionallanguages like French or Dutch are a plus, but not a requirement)
