Electromechanical Engineer Job Summary
Your primary role as an Electromechanical Engineer is to provide expert design and analysis services in the field of electrical engineering.
You will work closely with other disciplines, such as mechanical engineering, to support product development across various business units.
* Developing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining electrical, electro-mechanical, and motion control solutions, including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) code, for internal products and external customers,
* Collaborating with partners and customers to integrate HITEC electrical and automated solutions,
* Defining, documenting, and implementing new features and technologies in existing or new products to enhance solutions,
* Presenting and explaining key features and concepts in discussions with partners,
* Supporting the testing process by maintaining and driving functional tests using existing or new test plans,
* Helping develop and establish best practices in product design and verification,
* Introducing, documenting, and disseminating new technologies and concepts in technology surveys.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical or automation engineering,
* At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field, including electro-mechanical devices such as electrical motors and power electronics,
* Able to work in an English-speaking environment, including technical discussions and documentation activities, with German, French, and Luxembourgish being a plus,
* Able to adapt to new situations and collaborate with various stakeholders and partners to achieve results,
* Background in control theory and knowledge of PLC and PC programming languages is a plus.
