As a Manager of the SoftProject Academy you are responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial management of the Academy organization. The role includes the leadership of the Academy Training Team, the development and maintenance of high-quality training and education content, and the establishment of a scalable, modern learning portfolio for SoftProject products.
What you can expect:
* Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop the Academy team (trainers, instructional designers, operations), fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Academy Strategy: Define and evolve the strategic direction of the SoftProject Academy in line with company objectives, market trends, and customer needs.
* Modern Training Portfolio: Own and expand a comprehensive, future-ready training portfolio including classroom, virtual, e-learning, certification, and blended learning formats.
* Content Strategy & Quality Assurance: Oversee the development, maintenance, and quality of all training content aligned with product roadmaps and release cycles.
* Training Delivery Excellence : Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of all Academy programs with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
* Operational Excellence & Scalability: Optimize planning, processes, and workflows to ensure efficient and scalable Academy operations.
* Business & P&L Responsibility: Manage the Academy’s P&L, including revenue planning, cost control, and margin optimization.
* Performance Management & Reporting: Define KPIs, monitor performance (e.g. revenue, utilization, certifications), and prepare management reports.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Consulting, and Customer Success to ensure effective customer enablement.
What we’re looking for:
* Several years of professional experience in training management, education services, enablement, or professional services within a technology or software environment.
* Proven leadership experience, ideally with responsibility for multi-disciplinary teams.
* Experience in designing, implementing, and managing education programs, including modern digital learning formats.
* Solid understanding of instructional design methodologies and e-learning technologies.
* Experience in managing business KPIs, P&L components, and operational processes.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent in German and English.
* Nice to have: Experience with certification program design or partner enablement programs and knowledge of learning management systems and authoring tools.
