Among other platforms, it develops long-endurance unmanned aircraft systems for defence and security missions. Our engineering team works at the edge of what is physically achievable — advancing aerodynamics, guidance, navigation, control, onboard computation and AI-assisted autonomy to enable persistent, reliable operations in demanding environments.
We are looking for a Workshop Manager to oversee the setup and day-to-day operations of the workshop, supporting the build, integration and testing of prototype and pre-production systems. You will act as the central link between engineering and production, ensuring that design data is effectively translated into physical hardware.
The role requires strong hands-on technical experience across mechanical, electrical and integration domains, combined with the ability to organize work, manage resources and maintain high safety and quality standards.
Production Planning: Plan and allocate work packages, define schedules and ensure timely execution of tasks.
Translate engineering designs into production data, supporting build activities and redlining where necessary.
Testing & Validation: Monitor and support testing activities, including troubleshooting and system verification.
Team Leadership: Instruct, coordinate and support workshop personnel (initially with external services and gradually in the future with permanent team members), including training and qualification of staff.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including handling of hazardous materials, batteries and fuels.
Workshop Experience: Strong hands-on experience in workshop environments, ideally in aerospace, automotive or similar industries.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Ability to support testing and resolve technical issues during build and integration phases.
Language: Fluency in both English and German is required.
