What You’ll Own
* Operate and maintain high-availability Linux server environments
* Configure and administer MySQL clusters and replication setups
* Deploy and fine-tune open-source stacks (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Varnish, etc.)
* Build automation into everything with Puppet and Ansible
* Work hands-on with KVM and other virtualisation platforms
* Drive infrastructure discussions and performance tuning
* Script, automate, evolve, Shell, PHP, Python, Java are all welcome
* Collaborate across teams: Hosting, Networking, Data Centre Ops
What You Bring
* Command-line mastery across CentOS, Debian, RHEL
* Deep Linux system administration skills
* Advanced MySQL config, clustering and replication experience
* Familiarity with mail and web services (Postfix, Dovecot, Varnish, Apache)
* Hands-on automation mindset: Puppet, Ansible, repeat
* DNS, systems infra, performance, second nature
Bonus Points If You Have
* Virtualisation chops (KVM, oVirt, RHEV)
* Container fluency (Docker, modern hosting architectures)
* Basic programming knowledge (Shell, PHP, Python, Java)
* A relevant technical or scientific degree
