Job Title Logistics Process Engineer Job Description Logistics Process Engineer Your role: System Integration: Conducting daily checks to ensure data integrity and smooth information flow between SAP, Transportation Management (TMID), and Logistics Service Provider (LSP) systems. Transportation Planning: Developing and maintaining long-term transportation plans for finished products, aligning with customer demand and promised delivery dates. Calculating transportation capacity and creating strategic transport plans to support operational goals. Performance Management: Reporting on the performance of all service providers, conducting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews to assess key metrics and identify opportunities for improvement Shipment Tracking: Monitoring shipments, document updates, and communicating delays or issues to relevant stakeholders promptly. Process Optimization: Identifying and implementing improvements to logistics and transportation processes, enhancing efficiency and scalability. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics service providers to align on transportation plans and resolve issues. Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of transportation plans and shipment statuses, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
