Tasks
As an M&A Intern, you'll play a vital role in managing and shaping our projects. You'll collaborate with various departments and external partners to drive successful transactions.
1. Contribute to activities for assigned M&A projects (such as due diligence processes), integrating multiple departments and external service providers
2. Participate in contract negotiations with transaction partners
3. Continuously monitor competitor M&A activities and network with relevant transaction partners and service providers
4. Prepare briefing and decision materials for stakeholders through targeted presentation
5. Conduct company valuations and develop business cases, offering recommendations for the executive board and participating in transaction strategy and structure

Requirements
We seek candidates with strong academic backgrounds and relevant professional experience. Ideal applicants are skilled in complex problem-solving, and financial methods.
6. You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
7. Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year) in Finance, Strategy or a related field
8. Strong problem-solving skills and process reliability
9. Proficiency in German and English
10. Ability to work precisely
11. Outstanding PowerPoint and Excel skills
12. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
13. Strong initiative and independence
14. Specialized knowledge in financial methods and project experience is beneficial
15. Ideally, initial experience in a leading investment bank or consultancy
