Your Tasks
As a Test Engineer (m/f/d), you will take ownership of the complete product testing process – from electronics to software, from the lab to real underwater environments.
You ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and perform reliably under any condition.
Your responsibilities include:
* Defining, planning, and documenting test requirements for hardware, software, and system testing
* Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and validation procedures
* Setting up and maintaining test environments and test benches
* Conducting functional, integration, system, and environmental tests
* Developing automated test setups and scripts
* Analyzing results, preparing test reports, and tracking issues to resolution
* Collaborating closely with development teams to improve design quality and product robustness
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of test strategies and processes
Your Profile
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Physics, or similar
* Experience in testing complex technical systems (preferably embedded or communication systems)
* Knowledge of hardware, software, and system-level testing methods
* Experience in test automation (e.g. using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools)
* Familiar with laboratory and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, environmental chambers, etc.)
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and structured working style
* Good command of English (German is a plus)
* Team player with initiative and a hands-on mentality
