About the role
The PMO – Aftermarket & Distribution Readiness Europe ensures that European distribution entities are fully prepared to support new product launches from a service and aftermarket perspective. The PMO acts as a cross-functional coordinator and governance lead, ensuring accountable functions deliver required outputs before launch gates.
This role does not own operational execution but ensures transparency, alignment, and risk mitigation to protect customer experience and service revenue from Day 1.
Job Description
Aftermarket Launch Governance
o Define and maintain a standardized Aftermarket & Distribution Readiness framework
o Establish clear launch gates and readiness criteria aligned with product milestones
o Implement structured readiness dashboards and reporting
o Ensure clear RACI and ownership across functions
o Escalate risks with mitigation options to European leadership
Service Product Readiness Coordination
o Ensure all service-related deliverables are defined, validated, and ready before go-live, including:
o Service offerings & agreements definition
o Warranty framework alignment
o Service documentation availability
o Tooling requirements identification
o Repair strategy validation
o Monitor progress, highlight gaps, and drive closure with accountable teams
Systems & Process Readiness
o Ensure functional teams validate:
o ERP and master data setup
o Service and spare parts integration
o Forecasting integration
o Order-to-repair process activation
o Coordinate readiness reviews and go-live validation checkpoints.
o Parts & Supply Readiness Coordination
o Training & Capability Readiness
Requirements
o 5–10 years experience in PMO, Supply Chain, Aftermarket, or Product Launch Management
o Strong understanding of spare parts management and service operations
o Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
o Experience in a multi-country European environment
o Strong stakeholder management in matrix organizations
o Structured, data-driven, risk-oriented mindset
o Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
o Cross-functional leadership without direct authority
o Structured governance and milestone management
o Strong communication and influencing skills
o Customer-centric mindset
o Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
