About the Role
As an Information Risk & Compliance Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring our IT systems—whether cloud-based or on-prem—remain secure, resilient, and compliant. You’ll identify risks, coordinate mitigation efforts with risk owners, and help us in meeting standards like J-SOX, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, and more. You’ll also in charge in maturing our compliance monitoring and strengthening our internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
1. Promote compliance across ITC EMEA teams.
2. Develop strategies to prevent non-compliance and fraud.
3. Support and eventually lead internal/external audits.
4. Follow-up on non-compliance issues and ensure resolution.
5. Evaluate and improve our IT policies, standards and procedures.
6. Identify and manage IT risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
7. Report on risk & compliance status, and escalate where needed.
8. Collaborate closely with IT and risk management teams to enhance our security posture.
9. Lead efforts toward ISO 27001 certification for expanding scopes.
Your Profile
10. You have a master degree (as Engineer, Computer scientist, Economist or equal).
11. You work accurately with an eye for details but you are also able to communicate clearly on high level.
12. You are critical, can listen and explain compliance requirements in a pragmatic way.
13. Independent, proactive, and capable of leading initiatives with a self-starter mentality.
14. Experience as auditor, as key-user or as analyst in similar IT surroundings is an advantage but not a must. Same counts for SAP knowledge.
15. You have analytic and communicative skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
16. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or ISO 27005 Risk Manager are highly valued.
