Job Description
Join our dynamic R&D department, where a passionate, multidisciplinary team of biologists, immunologists, chemists, and engineers collaborates to shape the future of T cell therapies.
* In this exciting role, you will be part of a highly driven team responsible for developing innovative workflow solutions for the CliniMACS Prodigy® and Plus® platforms—from initial concept to market launch. These solutions enable automated, fully closed manufacturing of T cell therapies.
* You will lead a small team that will be trained on the CliniMACS Prodigy® and Plus® under your guidance and oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of experiments using immunological techniques. This role includes hands-on laboratory work.
* You will work in close collaboration with other R&D teams and cross-functional departments including Software Development, Marketing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Production to support our existing portfolio of engineered T cell manufacturing products.
* You will identify and engage internal stakeholders, and be responsible for preparing, summarizing, and presenting results in both internal and external meetings.
Qualifications
* You hold a PhD in Life Sciences, ideally with initial experience in clinically relevant process and system development. Alternatively, you have a Master’s degree in Life Sciences with several years of postgraduate experience.
* You bring a strong foundation in immunology, complemented by broad expertise in immunological methods such as cultivation, activation, gene modification of human T cells, and in vitro functional analysis. Experience with CAR T cells or tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) is a plus.
* You have proven experience in project management and leadership.
* Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory affairs, as well as documentation under design control in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13485, is advantageous.
* You are recognized for your precise, well-organized, and independent working style. You thrive in team environments, have experience mentoring junior colleagues, and approach challenges with creativity and a goal-oriented mindset.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, along with a strong track record in stakeholder management, round out your profile.
