Our Laboratory of Immunology at the Institute of Nutritional Medicine ( https://the-inum.com ) at the University of Lübeck and the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein investigates the development and function of antibodies. We have projects in the research fields of autoimmunity, allergy, vaccination, infection, cancer and nutrition, and are particularly interested in the corresponding T and B cell responses and their influence on the induction of activating or inhibiting antibody isotypes, subclass, and their glycosylation patterns as well as in the generation of corresponding monoclonal antibodies.
