We are looking for a Software Developer BPA BBIO GROUP (m/f/d) for our location in Ettlingen.
Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten
The Software Developer designs and delivers intuitive, high‑performance front ends for analytical solutions built on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) technology. The role translates complex scientific workflows into elegant, reliable user experiences, underpinned by sound software architecture and secure-by-design principles. By integrating data visualization, automation support, and interoperable APIs, this position is pivotal to providing scalable, maintainable solutions that improve laboratory productivity and elevate customer experience across applied markets (biotech/pharma and industrial).
1. Architect, implement, maintain and refine modern C#/.NET UI applications for NMR-based analytical applications.
2. Transform domain requirements from scientists and application specialists into intuitive, discoverable workflows, data visualizations, and reporting.
3. Optimize rendering performance of large scientific datasets
4. Design and develop software solutions that integrate cybersecurity measures, implement vulnerability management processes, and adhere to secure-by-design principles, while maintaining close collaboration with Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance.
5. Work closely with product/project management, NMR domain experts, and Q&RA to plan increments, refine backlogs, and deliver on roadmap commitments.
6. Produce high quality technical documentation (architecture overviews, user guides, troubleshooting) and provide 3rd‑line engineering support as needed.
7. Support development and integrate features that leverage advanced analytics (Deep-Learning / Machine-Learning) with a focus on usability.
8. Define and enforce code quality practices (including unit/UI testing, static analysis, code reviews, and continuous integration), contribute to architectural decision records, and support the setup and maintenance of build server infrastructure.
Qualifikationen
To be successful in this role, you will need:
9. Advanced/expert proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET ecosystem.
10. Strong experience with graphical user interface (GUI) design and development (. WinForms, WPF).
11. Deep knowledge with applications of cybersecurity principles in software development.
12. Proficient in implementing build automation and managing CI/CD pipelines, including writing and executing unit tests;
13. Capable of producing clear and comprehensive technical documentation for software solutions.
14. Knowledgeable in data visualization frameworks (. OpenGL, DirectX .
15. Comfortable working with agile development tools (. JIRA) and version control systems (. Git, Bitbucket).
