The Role:
We are looking for a talented Design Manager to be based in Frankfurt. This role is perfect for individuals with a background in design or architecture who are eager to take on a leadership position in a thriving sector. You will be at the forefront of our design efforts, ensuring that our data center projects meet the highest standards of functionality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design Leadership: Oversee and coordinate the design process from concept through to construction, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, architects, and engineering teams to develop design solutions that are practical, innovative, and cost-effective.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure that all design outputs meet regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company quality expectations.
* Problem Solving: Address design challenges proactively, providing creative solutions and managing any changes or adjustments required during the project lifecycle.
* Documentation: Prepare and manage design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
* Project Coordination: Support the project management team with design-related input, ensuring smooth integration of design and construction activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Design/Architecture Background: Previous experience in design management, architecture, or related roles within the construction industry.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. Understanding of data center or high-tech facility design is a plus.
* Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex design concepts clearly to various stakeholders. Proficiency in German is advantageous but not essential.
* Organizational Skills: Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Location: Ideally, candidates should be based in Germany or willing to relocate to Frankfurt.
