Position OverviewThis position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all Speira’s global treasury operations, including cash management, financing back office, foreign currency, interest and metal exposure management, hedging back office, bank relationships, and insurance.The role interacts with Group Accounting, Tax, Finance managers, metal procurement, IT, and other business/operations managers for the insurance program.What You ContributeLead and develop the global Treasury function, including the 13-week cash flow forecasting process and liquidity planning.Manage all cash operations, intercompany funding, and global working capital coordination.Oversee debt facilities, ensure compliance with credit agreements, and support financing activities with the CFO and private equity sponsor.Develop and execute FX, interest rate, and commodity hedging strategies; manage exposure reporting and back-office operations.Maintain strong relationships with banks, insurance brokers, and other financial partners; manage credit insurance and factoring programs.Collaborate with accounting, A/R, A/P, and procurement to optimize cash flow and ensure accurate financial reporting.Provide the private equity sponsor with timely and accurate cash reports and liquidity forecasts.Ensure compliance with internal controls and risk management policies; continuously improve treasury systems and processes.Your Profile / QualificationsBachelor's degree with focus on finance, banking, or related field required; Master’s degree / MBA and Certified Treasury Professional designation preferred.More than 10 years of experience in cash management, capital markets, and/or corporate finance in a global industrial or banking environment.Proven experience in managing debt facilities and building treasury functions, including the implementation of effective internal controls.At least 5 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.Strong communication skills across cultures and departments, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently.Solution-oriented, structured, and analytical approach to complex challenges.Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.Our BenefitsAttractive compensation packageExcellent further training opportunitiesRespectful and collegial corporate cultureSports & health promotion (Urban Sports)Work-life balanceCanteenCompany pension plan and pension plan according to collective agreementCompany day care center (U3)Corporate Benefits portal with many discountsSubsidized JobticketAccess to the Handelshof in Düsseldorf and HH-HarburgJob BikeWe expressly emphasize that all people, regardless of gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, or sexual orientation, are equally welcome at our company.
