🚀 We’re Hiring: Oracle DBA – Exadata (L3)

We’re hiring on behalf of our reputed client for an experienced Oracle DBA – Exadata (L3) to join their team on a full-time (40 hours/week), permanent, fully remote role from Germany.

💼 Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle DBA professional with strong expertise in Oracle 18c/19c database administration, Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, performance tuning, migration, patching, and production support in enterprise environments.

✔ RMAN Backup & Recovery

✔ Database Migration / Installation / Upgrades / Patching

✔ Performance Tuning (AWR / ADDM)

✔ Database Cloning

✔ ASM (Automatic Storage Management)

✔ Oracle GoldenGate / OEM

✔ Oracle Kernel Parameters Tuning

✔ Production Support / Critical Incident Management

✔ Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

✔ Scripting

✔ Linux / Solaris / Veritas Cluster

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle 18c / 19c production database environments

• Handle database migration, installation, upgrades, patching, and cloning

• Perform performance analysis and tuning using AWR / ADDM

• Manage RMAN backup and recovery strategies

• Administer Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, Exadata, GoldenGate, and OEM

• Handle high-severity critical incidents, troubleshooting, and RCA

• Manage alerts, notifications, blackout administration, and performance monitoring

• Drive automation initiatives and service improvement plans

• Support database upgrades from 11g / 12c to 18c / 19c

• Work in 24x7 rotational shift / on-call support environment

• Drive technical issue resolution and stakeholder communication

🎓 Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Database Administration Certification (Oracle 18c / 19c)

• DevOps / Agile exposure (good to have)

• JIRA experience (good to have)

• Azure / AWS cloud exposure (good to have)

🌍 Location / Eligibility

Remote from Germany

Candidates must have valid work authorization in Germany
