Overview
The Service and Security Manager position is crucial for ensuring the security and smooth operation of our services. By establishing comprehensive security protocols and service management processes, you will safeguard our operations and ensure efficient service delivery. In this vital role, you will bridge security gaps and optimize operational efficiencies to uphold and elevate service quality. An experienced manager will proactively identify and resolve potential vulnerabilities to minimize risks, ensure compliance, and support the seamless delivery of our services.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the implementation and maintenance of robust security protocols to protect our IT assets and infrastructure.
* Identify and address existing security gaps and operational inefficiencies, enhancing the integrity and reliability of services.
* Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.
* Monitor service operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security and service needs, coordinating initiatives that enhance overall security posture.
* Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely resolution, and manage post-incident analysis and reporting.
* Drive the continuous improvement of service processes and protocols, keeping them aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and best practices to effectively protect the organization’s assets and information.
Qualifications
* Several years of experience in service or security management, ideally within the technology sector.
* Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management.
* Proven track record of managing complex security situations and improving operational efficiencies.
* Experience in developing and executing employee training programs related to security and service management.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to managing potential issues.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
* Proficient in using various monitoring and security tools and platforms.
* Strong communication skills in English and German, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
* Nice to have: Relevant IT security certifications for cloud computing, such as CCSP, CISSP with a focus on cloud security, CISM, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, and Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
