Position Title: Calypso Functional Senior Consultant – Capital Markets Position Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Location: Remote(Spain) Contact: Franci Hernandez | +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 55 Job Summary: Join a major international initiative focused on incorporating new needs (a brand-new Equities & Equity Swap module ) into the Calypso v17+ platform. Key Responsibilities: Functional design solutions. Calypso v17. Customer requirements gathering and continuous interaction with users. Breaks down business requirements into clear and testable User Stories or functional specifications. Product portfolio support. Functional testing and validation: validates that User Stories reflect true functional business needs. Ongoing feedback, training and documentation for new Calypso needs. Assists in translating business language into technical context for developers. Ensures requirements are aligned with business objectives and Agile backlog items. Supports iterative development by refining requirements based on changing needs. Helps business users understand new features or workflows. You will work with all areas of banking business, FO, MO, BO, and must be familiar with all automatic and stability control processes of Calypso as a platform. Work on settlement process enhancements, particularly debt, equity trades, and swap settlements. Requeriments: At least 3- 4 years of hands-on experience with Calypso, specifically version 16 or newer. We are in v17. Practical knowledge of debt and derivatives. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into functional execution. Functional participation, at analyst level, in projects with delivery to the client. Strong Calypso working skills and expert knowledge of trading, risk, messaging and settlements. Familiarity with APIs, message queues, and middleware-based communication. Proven communication capability in English, engaging with global teams and stakeholders. B2-C1 – English level and Spanish. Desirable: Prior involvement in Calypso module implementation or customization Comprehensive knowledge of Calypso, focused from the contracting itself to the maturity of the portfolio, and its entire life cycle.
