The Position We're looking for a seasoned (Senior) Business Analyst with a strong background in analytics and insights to join our German team. Your role will involve generating insights from internal and external market data, market research, developing sales forecasts, tracking brand performance, and leading projects. Tasks & responsibilities You will take charge of a pipeline brand within the German cardio, renal, and metabolic (CRM) market. Bringing key professional and methodological competencies to the team, you will collaborate with a Therapeutic Area to generate insights and derive actionable recommendations based on internal and external market trends, primary and secondary market research, and prescription data. You will put your strong analytical skills to work, crafting forecasts and scenario planning with the business. Support local Brand Management with the conception and development of standard and ad-hoc analyses. Coordinating overarching analytical questions in cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to internal and external quality management standards. In collaboration with the local TA, the Global team and external providers, you will lead the development, execution, analysis, and presentation of primary and secondary market research. You will be a driving force along the way, from setting research objectives, developing hypotheses, and selecting appropriate methods (both qualitative and quantitative). Here, you will uncover new insights into customer behavior, market conditions, and pharma trends. Presenting key findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and general management, as well as managing collaborations with external research partners, will also be key tasks. Additional tasks for Senior CIF Analyst: Drive cross-functional alignment by facilitating collaboration between Therapeutic Areas, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Global Insights teams to ensure integrated decision-making. Together with the CXE Head you will represent a strategic sparrings partner for the local TA Head, to jointly define key business questions (KBQs) and plan and execute underlying analyses. This also includes thought leadershipin customer insights and forecasting, advising senior leadership on market dynamics and emerging trends in the CRM space. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering analytical excellence and business acumen across the team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration/economics, business informatics, or health sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology); additional qualifications are desirable (e.g., master's degree, PhD) Several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in life sciences consulting, with experience in analytics, sales forecasting, and market research Additional experience from consumer-driven markets of benefit (e.g., Weight Management & Obesity, Over-the-Counter, aesthetics, wellness & prevention, etc.) Ability to explain data, transform results into actionable insights, and effectively communicate findings to senior management Good knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) for data visualization and analytics, including the ability to create interactive dashboards and interpret complex datasets Expertise in advanced analytics methodologies, such as predictive modeling, machine learning, or real-world evidence (RWE) analytics Proven initiative, self-driven and results-oriented approach, with excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines Innovative problem solver with project management capabilities and expertise in change management practices Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams or initiatives in analytics, forecasting, and/or market research Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to influence decision-making at the executive level and align analytics / market research initiatives with broader business goals Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive alignment across global teams High intrinsic motivation for self-development, with a comprehensive understanding of business operations and market knowledge, including excellent presentation skills in both German and English Ready to contact us?
