Regional Sales Manager – DACHGeneral SummaryReporting to the Director, Sales DACH, the position will work closely with the Internal Sales and Technical Sales teams to drive the overall Company Business Strategy. Develops and executes Sales Business Plans and Strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier to Key customers within Region.ResponsibilitiesManages customer activities within the defined region, works in conjunction with the Technical & ProductSolutions Manager and Internal Sales Representatives to introduce the Rochester Electronics product tocustomers and to increase the customer portfolio per the agreed business development plan.Identifies target customers, builds relationships, and develops strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within the specified region.Lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, and business presentations.Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue for the regionEnsuring CRM is utilized and maintained daily.Provides effective communication and service to the customer base and effectively navigates internally to priorities on active business opportunities.Travel within the assigned region will be expected at min. 50%Other Duties & ResponsibilitiesOther duties as assigned.QualificationsBA or BS Degree in Electronics related subjects would be advantageProven business development, sales & management experience in the electronic component/ semiconductor industryExperience developing a large territory while working from a virtual officeExcellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others internally and externallyBeing fluent in German and English language is essential; any additional languages would be advantageousStrong Relationship-building skills both internally and externally and able to navigate and effectively manage business partners & suppliers successfullyProven background in developing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including experience in closing complex deals with customers & partnersFlexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficientlyAbility to problem solve by identifying the root cause and realizing/implementing solutionsAbility to maintain focus with little or no supervisionPassionate about business and willing to go the extra milePositive attitude with the ability to engage and learn quicklyMicrosoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate to the advanced level required)Other Working Conditions/Physical DemandsMust hold a full current driving licenseMust be able and willing to travelRochester Electronics is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
