The Department of Earth Sciences has been offering a new international Master's degree programme "Planetary Sciences and Space Exploration" since the winter semester /23. A tutor position located in the Planetary Geodynamics working group is being advertised for teaching support.
Job description:
Main tasks:
The planned tasks concern the support in the implementation of the exercises for the lectures "Introduction to planetary sciences and planet formation" in the winter semester and "Planetary atmospheres and climate" in the summer semester in the newly established, English-language Master's programme "Planetary Sciences and Space Exploration".
Supportive tasks:
Furthermore, it is planned that the tutor position will also serve as a point of contact for questions from new students and applicants to the Master's degree programme "Planetary Sciences & Space exploration", especially in the winter semester.
Desirable:
- Student of Geological Sciences or Meteorology
- basic knowledge of planetology
- good understanding of mathematics and physics
- good understanding of “Campus Management” and "Blackboard" or willingness to learn
- very good written and spoken English (B2)
