Objective
As a Manufacturing Digitalization & IIOT Specialist (M/F/D), you will drive forward the digital transformation of our manufacturing processes. We are looking for committed individuals who want to break new ground with us and actively shape the future of production.
Main Responsibilities
1. Further development and support of our internal MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
2. Integration of new machines and systems into the digital infrastructure (shop floor connectivity, industrial IoT, OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs)
3. Migration of existing system connections to Ignition SCADA
4. Customizing and developing solutions based on Ignition Perspective
5. Participating in the development and introduction of new digital manufacturing applications
6. Administration and optimization of SQL databases (T-SQL, MS SQL Server)
7. Scripting and automation with Python or comparable languages
8. Operational sub-project management for the introduction of new applications, including coordination of requirements and stakeholders
9. Creation of reports and dashboards with SSRS, Power BI, and other BI tools
10. Provision and analysis of production data for decision support
11. Interface support
12. Perspective: Introduction of AI-supported solutions for the optimization of manufacturing processes
Position Requirements
13. Degree in IT, automation technology, production engineering, engineering, or comparable qualification
14. Experience with MES systems and Ignition desirable
15. Knowledge of interface integration (OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs)
16. Confident use of T-SQL, Python
17. Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI
18. Experience in project coordination and stakeholder management
19. Structured approach to work, ability to work in a team, personal responsibility
20. German language skills (business fluent)
21. English language skills (business fluent)
Beneficial Skills
22. Experience with Ignition Perspective and customizing HMI/SCADA interfaces
23. Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., C#, Java)
24. Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
25. Knowledge of system architecture, data modeling
26. Experience with industrial IT, smart factory, digital twin, IIoT
27. Interest or initial experience in the field of artificial intelligence in manufacturing
