Global Offshore Strategy shapes the long-term direction of Vestas' offshore business and enables senior leaders to make high quality, timely decisions. Our work includes identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities and risks, developing actionable recommendations, facilitating key governance forums, and partnering with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into tangible results.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing strategy for our offshore business. Joining a collaborative and motivated team, you will contribute directly to advancing Vestas' strategic goals and offshore leadership aspirations.
Reporting to the Vice President of Global Offshore Strategy, your responsibilities will include:
• Performing insightful analyses and developing clear, actionable recommendations for senior decision makers
• Leading critical strategic projects - from framing to execution - in close collaboration with teams across Regions and functions such as sales, technology, construction and service
• Guide, direct, and influence teams across the business to ensure general coordination and aligned direction across our business
• Preparing high-quality communication materials and insights for the Global Offshore Leadership Team and senior executives
The role combines strategic thinking with practical execution and offers a rare opportunity to directly guide the strategic direction of a major global industrial business.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with 6+ years of strategy experience from roles in management consulting or an in-house strategy function and a solid background in structuring and executing complex initiatives in an international environment. You bring:
• Proven experience leading large-scale projects or programs in complex or matrixed organisations
• Knowledge and experience from the offshore industry or close related industries
• Solid business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate data into recommendations
• Demonstrated experience navigating and thriving in a complex, international corporate culture
