Overview
We are looking for a collaborative and experienced People Business Partner to drive impactful HR initiatives in our DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) market unit. In this role, you will partner with the local leaders to enhance business performance through talent development, organizational effectiveness, and a strong, inclusive culture.
You will collaborate with cross-functional HR teams, such as Talent, Total Rewards, People Operations, and Global Business Services, to deliver impactful initiatives. A key aspect of this role includes leading labor relations for the region and chairing the headquarters Works Council.
Responsibilities
Talent development & leadership coaching
* Partner with business leaders to build capabilities and drive performance.
* Strengthen manager capability in staffing, development, and employee engagement.
* Lead people planning, talent reviews, and succession planning.
* Address performance challenges and support continuous development.
Culture & engagement
* Promote a high-performance, inclusive culture aligned with company values.
* Drive employee engagement by empowering leaders and managers.
* Act as a cultural ambassador and coach for change leadership.
Organizational effectiveness
* Align and evolve organizational structures to support business goals and long-term growth.
* Identify improvements to ways of working, role clarity, and organizational design.
* Support transformation and change initiatives by driving engagement and alignment.
Labor relations & compliance
* Serve as the primary contact for the Works Council in Germany.
* Manage employee relations and ensure alignment with German labor law.
* Maintain fair, consistent HR policies and ensure legal compliance.
HR operations
* Oversee the delivery of key HR processes such as performance management, career development, job postings, and health & safety.
* Ensure high-quality execution and alignment with global standards.
* Collaborate with the broader HR network to support regional and global priorities.
Qualifications
* Fluent in German and English.
* Proven experience in HR business partnering with senior stakeholders.
* Strong working knowledge of German labor legislation.
* Background in an international corporate or FMCG environment, ideally within commercial functions.
* Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to lead change.
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
