* Development of control units for drive components, and for charging and converter technologies for hybrid and electric vehicles or industrial applications in accordance with the applicable market requirements, product standards and requirements for functional safety
* Definition of the concrete technical implementation within the projects, in the position of the hardware architect
* Planning, coordinating and securing drafts for hardware systems or components
* Using simulation tools such as PLECS for system analyses and optimization

Your skills that will help us to get ahead:
* A degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, ideally specializing in power electronics, or an equivalent qualification
* Professional experience in definition, design, simulation and system optimization, taking into account the EMC requirements of power electronics for vehicle engineering and in the industrial sector
* Experience with the special challenges posed by the topologies of high-current and high-voltage controls and knowledge of the development of such control units
* Expertise in designing control circuits with common microprocessors and digital signal processors
* Experience in the use of common development tools such as PLECS, PSice, MATLAB/Simulink, Altium Designer and MS-Office
* Independent and structured method of working, outstanding team spirit
* Good English skills, a knowledge of German would be desirable
* There is, of course, also the possibility of mobile working from home
