Responsibilities:
1. You prepare sales tax returns for German companies and coordinate returns for entities registered abroad
2. You also prepare input tax refund applications
3. You monitor tax payments and ensure that all relevant deadlines are met
4. You create and update internal sales tax guidelines, prepare internal training courses, and conduct these courses
5. You advise colleagues on VAT issues and provide support during external tax audits
6. You assist with VAT reviews of European companies and play an active role in optimizing our VAT compliance processes
Qualifications:
7. You have completed training as a tax clerk or tax specialist, or have a degree in business administration with a focus on taxation
8. You have initial practical experience in the field of indirect taxation, ideally in an international company or an auditing or tax consulting firm
9. In addition, you are proficient in MS Office and have experience working with SAP
10. You are a strong team player and open to collaboration, actively contributing to a supportive working environment
11. You also have strong self-organization skills and are confident in managing deadlines to reliably meet tax deadlines
12. Furthermore, you have a strong command of written and spoken German (C2) and English (C1)
