Meet the team:
It is essential to stay updated with the latest developments in Diabetes and CGM to serve patients effectively and support healthcare professionals. The Medical Affairs team are experts in diabetes treatment, medical device training, clinical studies, and CGM as a management tool.
Role overview:
* Lead the DACH Medical Affairs team and define medical strategies for the region.
* Serve as the primary medical voice internally and externally, representing the company at conferences and through networking.
* Contribute to the DACH strategy and participate in leadership teams.
* Promote clinical trial data, publications, and health outcome research with KOLs and other stakeholders.
* Build and maintain key relationships within the diabetes ecosystem.
* Provide medical and educational leadership to various teams including Marketing, Sales, and Technical Support.
* Develop educational tools and clinical messaging for diverse audiences including patients, nurses, and physicians.
* Support Dexcom’s leadership in CGM education and adoption as a standard of care.
* Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure offerings meet clinical needs.
Ideal candidate:
* Team-oriented, collaborative, and independent with critical thinking skills.
* Experienced in managing medical advisory boards with KOLs.
* Deep understanding of challenges faced by people with diabetes today.
* Strong presentation skills for clinicians and patients.
* Experience with diabetes technology, including CGM, in adult and pediatric care.
* Minimum 5 years of management experience, including leading managers.
* Experience working in matrix organizations.
