We’re looking for a skilled Network LAN / WAN Engineer to support the day-to-day engineering and delivery of enterprise network and wireless environments across a global estate. This is a hands-on technical role with strong exposure to office moves, renewals, and large-scale wireless network design, working closely with Real Estate and Service Delivery Programme teams.
The role sits within a global function, requiring strong technical ownership, collaboration with vendors and managed service providers, and the ability to design and deliver resilient, high-availability network solutions.
Engineering and supporting LAN, WAN, and Wireless production network environments
Designing and delivering high-availability, resilient network solutions
Supporting office moves and office renewals in line with defined network standards
Leading and contributing to wireless coverage design, signal optimisation, and performance tuning
Strong hands-on experience with enterprise wireless network design and delivery
Proven expertise in Aruba Wireless design, management, and standardisation
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting high-density enterprise wireless networks
Solid understanding of routing protocols and tiered network design
Experience supporting voice applications over wireless, such as Microsoft Teams
Experience working as part of a global, multinational IT function
Strong analytical capability to translate business and technical requirements into effective network designs
