The Role
As Brand Manager, you’ll be at the heart of shaping and growing one of our key premium brands in the German market, reporting directly to the Head of Premium. This is a role where strategy meets creativity—and where your ideas can genuinely shape how consumers experience the brand.
You’ll work closely with global and local teams to bring the brand to life, from shaping its direction and building strong equity platforms to delivering campaigns and experiences that truly connect with consumers. You’ll also keep a close eye on brand performance, spotting opportunities and turning insights into action to keep the brand moving forward.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end brand role where you’ll be involved in everything from strategy and innovation to execution and performance tracking. Location: Hamburg, Germany
Principle Accountabilities
1. Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with business objectives, consumer insights, and global guidelines.
2. Build brand equity and consumer engagement through impactful campaigns and experiences across multiple touchpoints.
3. Manage assigned brands and portfolios, ensuring relevance to consumer needs and market trends.
4. Drive innovation and growth opportunities, including new product launches and business case development.
5. Plan and manage marketing investments to maximize effectiveness and return on investment.
6. Monitor performance and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to optimize brand and business results.
Skills and Experience Required
7. University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field
8. 3–5+ years of brand marketing experience in FMCG, ideally in Germany; tobacco experience a plus
9. Strong consumer-centric mindset with proven marketing track record
10. Excellent analytical, conceptual, strategic planning, and organisational skills
11. Confident stakeholder management across all levels with strong communication skills
12. Fluent English required; German is an advantage; able to manage multiple projects autonomously
