As part of our team, you'll gain hands-on experience across M&A Controlling, Investment Controlling, and Post-Merger Integration. You'll contribute to analysis and steering of M&A projects throughout phases, including financial due diligence, company valuation, and purchase price allocation.
You'll support integration of acquired companies, perform post-acquisition tracking, and help monitor synergy realization. Beyond M&A, you'll support Investment Controlling team assessing strategic organic investments.
During your internship, you'll work with Bloomberg Terminal, high-standard valuation tools and models, e.g., calculating WACC or performing benchmarking tasks.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assist in the analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with our business strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth through strategic finance and transformation initiatives.
Contribute to the development of business cases, financial models, and other analytical tools to inform investment decisions.
* Develop and maintain complex financial models, including sensitivity analyses and scenario planning.
* Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.
* Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise reports and presentations.
What We're Looking For
We seek bright, motivated students with strong analytical skills and a passion for corporate finance. Thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working with high-performing teams. Ideal candidates are in their penultimate or final year of Business Administration or Natural Science studies.
* Enrolled in Business Administration or Natural Science studies
* Interest in corporate finance, business planning, and M&A (ideally with first practical experience gained at investment banks or Big4)
* Highly motivated with excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English
* Initiative to take on early responsibility and manage own projects
* Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel)
