Junior Professor (W1),
on the tenure track to a
permanent W2 University Professorship
for Educational Science with a focus on Difference and Gender Studies in Primary Schools
Your responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the development of the subject area of ‘Educational Science with a focus on Difference and Gender Studies in Primary Schools’ in the tenure track phase in both basic theory, empirical research and teaching. You will represent the subject in its entirety after completing the tenure track.
Teaching will cover educational science and educational science for special needs with a focus on inclusive teaching in primary schools and the Bachelor's programme ‘Development and Inclusion’. Furthermore, the future holder of the position should be prepared to collaborate in the further development of the degree programmes and to participate in the work of the self-governing committees. The teaching load is 4 SWS.
Your profile:

• A completed, above-average Ph.D. related to the field of primary school, childhood, differential research or gender studies is essential.
• Applicants should be experienced in qualitative research methods and have demonstrated this in the context of an outstanding doctoral degree.
• Cooperation with the research networks of the faculty and the Centre for Teacher Training and Educational Research (ZLB) is expected.
• Experience in the area of third-party funding acquisition and practical school experience are desirable.
