We are currently looking for the right person to join our Embedded Data Processing & Algorithms Department as a:Software Architect (m/f)Located in Bissen / LuxembourgYour responsibilities would include:Creating high-level architectural designs that align with business requirements and technical constraintsProviding technical guidance and mentoring to development team members ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practicesCollaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the architecture meets both functional and non-functional requirementsProducing and maintaining comprehensive architectural documentationConducting code reviews to ensure that the implementation aligns with the architectural vision and adheres to quality standards including security, reliability, and usabilityIdentifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategiesEnsuring that the architecture supports optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability of the software systemStaying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, to adapt architectural strategies accordinglyYou would need to meet the following requirements:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentAt least 5 years’ working experience of Software Architecture and Design PatternsStrong analytical skills to identify and resolve architectural issues and make decisions that balance technical and business needsVery good knowledge of UML, Object-Oriented Analysis and Model Driven DevelopmentKnowledge of the followings are considered assets:Microcontroller Hardware and PeripheralsEmbedded Software DevelopmentAutomotive Processes and Quality Standards (e.g., A-SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA)Requirement management toolsAgile DevelopmentWorking effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to manage deadlines, proven experience balancing multiple prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsService-oriented and well organizedFluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are considered assetsWhy would you want to work with us?At IEE we’re dynamic, motivated, and solution-oriented.
