We provide payment modules that are easy to integrate and cover the entire spectrum of payment management: from processing various payment types, through automated analytics of customer behavior and requirements, to integrative risk management.About The TeamThe Group Tax Team is responsible for all tax matters, including corporate tax, trade tax, VAT across the Unzer Group, which consists of 15 entities in 4 countries. We also handle cross-border intercompany transfer pricing and related tax implications. This key tax role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.What your work will look like:Take responsibility for the group's tax position in Germany and across EuropeBuild and manage the Tax team, prioritizing projects and tasks, ensuring correct calculation and booking of tax liabilitiesOwn and improve the current intercompany charging modelProactively engage with key external tax stakeholders (DEU, LUX, DKK, AUT), ensure compliance with local tax laws, and identify opportunities to add value through corporate transactionsLead tax projects independentlyCoordinate with external tax advisorsSimplify and implement modern processes and tools within the tax organization to support growthWhat you need to be successful in this role:You are a fully qualified tax professional passionate about defining tax processes and building tax teamsYou have experience in a scale-up company as a key tax figure, preferably in Fintech or a similar regulated sector, and with top-tier tax practice focusing on European taxation and financial servicesYou can manage relationships with tax authorities in multiple jurisdictions and are proficient in English and GermanYou are well-versed in IFRS and HGB, adaptable to additional jurisdictions if neededYou have a track record of accomplishments, solution-oriented mindset, and a proactive attitudeYou are positive, can handle high workloads, and focus on overarching goalsNICE TO HAVEExperience working in a PE-controlled environmentExposure to regulators and understanding of their operationsM&A experienceWhat's next?If interested, apply with your CV in German.
