IT-Technician (m/f/d)
Job Description
Working in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and hands-on support. Job responsibilities:
1. Provide first line and second line support and incident management to all users across the geography of responsibility, including white collars, blue collars and road warriors, ensuring efficient service operations;
2. Be a point of escalation in the resolution of more challenging incidents;
3. Ensure that all IT&Data tickets (incidents and requests) relating to hardware, software, networking and remote access issues are resolved in accordance with the KPI deadlines set in the Fresh Service ticket system;
4. Recognize problem management needs and propose sustainable and efficient solutions;
5. Ensure all systems operate in accordance with local legislation.
6. Ensure necessary documentation to support the global & local applications and certificates to run the environment is in place and kept up to date;
7. Collaborate with facilities / engineering teams to ensure the data center / computer room runs in accordance with the Global policies.
8. Support changes in the plant asset footprint (new lines, warehouse changes, R&D Facilities, etc);
9. Provide basic IT&Data training to internal stakeholders to enable daily business use of technology;
10. Adopt and implement global/central applications to support global operational requirements;
11. Monitor backup operations to ensure successful operation and data protection;
12. Monitor server health and troubleshooting and resolving any alarms or warnings;
13. In line with pre-determined budget order and configuration of new hardware to service agreed refresh cycles or replacements;
14. Manage the renewal of local OPEX related maintenance agreements in accordance with global standards;
15. Recommend improvement opportunities' regarding IT&Data processes;
16. Assist ongoing regional projects to support wider IT&Data initiatives;
17. Responsible for ensuring security and data integrity through adherence to group policies and standards.
Job Requirements
18. Minimum 5 years in an IT Support Role;
19. Operational knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Windows 10/11, M365, SharePoint and basic networking concepts;
20. Able to deliver presentations towards IT&Data colleagues;
21. Ability to work autonomously and make appropriate decisions when necessary;
22. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
23. An understanding of data protection and security principles;
24. Desire to learn and progress;
25. Deeper knowledge or certification in any of the following technologies is a plus: Cisco/Meraki switching, SOTI, Power Automate and/or Azure;
26. Certifications and Trainings of client deployed Microsoft tooling and CCNA is a plus;
27. Travel: On site support to other client locations as might be necessary and appropriate;
28. Driving Licence;
29. Proficiency in local language and a good level of English.
