The Opportunity
* Shape the system architecture to align with our ambitious goals and facilitate seamless collaboration across institutions
* Provide expert technical guidance on cloud-based projects, mentoring junior engineers in software design, security, and DevOps best practices
* Ensure alignment with project objectives and interoperability requirements through careful coordination of AWS-based systems with on-premise infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and maintain the overall system architecture, fostering innovation and agility
2. Develop scalable system architectures and lead technical decision-making across the development lifecycle
3. Collaborate closely with project managers and product owners to align timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
* Proven track record in technical leadership roles on cloud-native projects, with expertise in designing APIs and scalable system architectures
* Deep understanding of AWS services and architectures, including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and EKS
