Business Development Manager
As a key member of our team, you will drive growth in a core market by developing business plans to create your own client portfolio.
You will be responsible for attending and coordinating events to develop new leads and build long-term relationships with clients.
Conducting research to identify business opportunities and staying up-to-date with market conditions is also a crucial aspect of this role.
Collaborating across business lines to drive new business and provide excellent after-sales service is essential for success in this position.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop business plans to create your own client portfolio using our capabilities.
* Attend and coordinate events to develop new leads and build long-term relationships with clients.
* Conduct research to identify business opportunities and stay up-to-date with market conditions.
* Collaborate across business lines to drive new business and provide excellent after-sales service.
* Use internal CRM systems to track business development activities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Relationship Manager in Wealth Management.
* A strong network of private customers and financial intermediaries in Belgium.
* An excellent knowledge of products and services required by Belgian private customers and financial intermediaries.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to build sustainable relationships.
* Proven negotiation skills and ability to close deals.
* High level of integrity and ethics.
* Relevant University background in Finance.
* CFA/CAIA/CISI or other related financial certifications are seen as an advantage.
Desirable Traits:
* Fluency in Dutch, English, and French.
* Strong client-orientation and results-driven approach.
* Rigorous, organized, and methodical customer approach.
* Motivated to work in a team and willing to travel.
