As part of the People Team, the People Business Partner for Global Innovation and Germany acts as a trusted strategic advisor, driving employee engagement and experience through the design and implementation of impactful people solutions. In this capacity, the role strengthens organizational effectiveness, enhances leadership capability, and enables transformation in a dynamic, global environment.
The role combines a global functional scope, supporting the Global Innovation organization (approx. 65 FTE), ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Drive the design and implementation of people solutions, including HR policies, processes, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities in a global, innovation-driven environment.
Lead and support organizational design, transformation, and change initiatives, ensuring effective execution and communication.
Advise, coach, and challenge leaders on talent management, performance, and leadership development to strengthen organizational capability and employee experience.
Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to guide strategic workforce planning and key hiring decisions.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies in close collaboration with Legal.
Leverage HR data, metrics, and insights to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Partner with People Operations and Payroll Teams on HR admin, payroll and benefits topics
Internal : Global Innovation Leadership Team, Global Innovation and German employees, People Strategy and Solutions Team (including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards), employee representatives / works councils
•Bachelor’s degree required, with at least 7 years of progressive HR experience in an international environment.
Solid experience in employee relations in Germany and strong knowledge of German labor law and collective bargaining agreements (preferably in the chemical industry).
Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and systems, with an analytical, data-driven mindset.
Comfortable working in global and multicultural settings. Fluent in English; German native or equivalent required.
