This position involves defining, developing, automating, and deploying new test scenarios to validate various platform areas of 4G/5G cellular and satellite modems. Responsibilities include executing tests, analyzing results and failures, and identifying issues and optimizations to enhance the user experience. To improve efficiency, we use Python-based automation and leverage AI/ML wherever possible. You will work cross-functionally with platform architecture, standardization, firmware/protocol development, system test, and carrier engineering teams to drive improvement proposals and baseband optimizations. Our team members enjoy the flexibility to engage in all aspects of protocol software—PHY, RF, SIM, AS, NAS, IP, TCP/UDP, and iOS interfaces—to ensure the most robust and customer-friendly solutions. Bachelors/Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience Understanding and experience with 4G and 5G cellular systems testing Knowledge & Experience in Automation and Scripting skills using Python Experience in building application with AIML Hands-on experience in wireless embedded system testing, with a focus on 4G and 5G technologies. Skilled in defining, developing, and validating cellular modem system test cases for mobile devices using industry-standard test development platforms. Experienced in applying machine learning to enhance cellular system functionality and test efficiency. Solid grasp of 3GPP specifications including LTE and NR air interface, and key protocol layers — PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, PDCP, and NAS. Proven ability to independently lead complex technology areas and drive product quality improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
