The ADAS System Lead is a customer-facing role, requiring a deep technical understanding, along with the soft skills needed to interface with customers and other stakeholders. The ADAS System Leadensurescooperationwithinternalandexternaldevelopmentteamstosecuresystem deliverables.
Your role:
1. System owner (incl. process) for a customer project
2. Lead cross functional team of ADAS Feature Owners or comparable
3. Analyze requirements from customer and other stakeholders
4. Develop/Clarify requirements with stakeholders where necessary
5. Act as driver for analyzing effort and cost to realize change requests
6. Communicate system status by coordinating all internal and external stakeholders.
7. Make sure that the system is delivered to the customer with agreed scope timely and with required quality
8. Support system integration and testing activities
9. Link system deliveries with project timing
10. Compiling process-oriented metrics on stakeholder-level for the owned function
11. Frequent reporting to Aptiv and customer management
12. Responsible for compliance with Aptiv processes and methods
13. The role involves international and intercontinental travels multiple times a year
Your background:
14. MSc in electronics, telecommunication, robotics, software engineering, computer science, physics or equivalent
15. 5 years or more work experience as systems engineer, product owner, function owner or equivalent
16. Proven leadership skills and judgement regarding systems, software, perception
17. Experience in the automotive and/or truck industry development (ISO26262, Regulations, etc.)
18. ASPICE experience
19. Experience working in an agile development environment
20. Experience in Polarion / Doors
21. Basic programming skills in Matlab, Python or C/C++
22. Understanding of product development process
23. Self-motivated, professional, positive attitude
24. Ability totake high levels of responsibility: making decisions, being accountable
25. Ability to function in a high pressure and sometimes ambiguous environment
26. Good presentation skills. Strong leadership as well as team player skills
27. Fluent in English (written and spoken) and ideally one more language
