Tax Compliance Officer (w/m/d)

Your Challenge
You support the bank as a subject matter expert in all tax compliance matters, including QI, FATCA, CRS. As part of the group-wide tax compliance team, you collaborate closely with local colleagues and colleagues across VP Bank Locations.
You ensure robust regulatory oversight for QI/FATCA/CRS and client tax compliance for VP Bank Group entities
You execute controls within onboarding, periodic review, and event-driven review processes
You implement internal control system (ICS) activities
You handle and respond to inquiries related to QI/FATCA/CRS and client tax compliance
You perform 2nd line of defense controls for annual reporting
You support the technical implementation of international tax topics
You prepare and continuously update fact sheets, guidelines, process descriptions, work instructions, client forms and group standards.
Your Profile
You bring several years of experience in tax compliance (QI, FATCA, CRS/AEOI) and in supporting business units on tax-related matters
Experience in Avaloq is considered an asset
You combine a quick grasp of new topics with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to translate complex matters into practical, actionable solutions
You demonstrate a precise, structured and reliable way of working
You show a high level of commitment and resilience, even in demanding situations
You enjoy working in an international team across locations, where you can actively contribute and make an impact
You have proven communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with different stakeholders
You are fluent in German and have very good written and spoken English skills.
