As we continue to expand our global presence, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a key role in our financial management and growth strategies.
Responsibilities
* Financial Strategy
o Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
o Provide leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Financial Reporting
o Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
o Present financial performance to executive leadership and stakeholders.
* Risk Management
o Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Budget Management
o Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
o Implement cost‑control measures while maintaining a high standard of quality.
* Cash Flow Management
o Optimize cash flow by managing working capital and overseeing treasury functions.
o Develop and implement strategies to maximize liquidity and minimize financial risks.
* Financial Decision Support
o Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision‑making.
o Conduct financial analysis and modeling for business initiatives.
* Audit and Compliance
o Manage the audit process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
o Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
* Investment Strategies
o Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis for decision‑making.
o Optimize the financial structure to support business growth.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within the fashion or e-commerce industry.
* Strong financial acumen with a track record of successful financial management.
* Excellent calculation skills.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Minimum of 2 years experience with Shopify.
* Worked for a company that did a minimum of €10 million in sales on a yearly basis.
* In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to overall business strategy.
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
