On our AI- driven SaaS platform, freelance experts team up to form Vicos. The Vicos then act like real companies (e. g. consultancies or system integrators), competing successfully for large enterprise projects.
Already, 100+ Vicos with thousands of freelancers work on projects for enterprise clients like BASF, Miele, Siemens or Zeiss and many SMEs. They also serve leading professional services firms as subcontractors, including Accenture, Infosys and Roland Berger. Our SAP-certified platform provides the full digital infrastructure for forming and operating Vicos: marketing, finance, legal, organization – increasingly enhanced by AI agents as productive Vico members.
We are scaling our go-to-market and need a leader who shapes how enterprises source professional services in the agentic era.
As Business Development Director you combine three capabilities:
strategic consulting which helps clients buy the right professional services product in the right way – that is how selling works for our product
understanding AI’s role in service delivery
You challenge how your clients source, deliver and scale professional services – and you show to them why the Vico model is structurally superior (when this is the case, which it most often is). You join our leadership team with end-to-end accountability: from market shaping and first pitch to delivery oversight and long-term account growth. Build thought leadership through events and LinkedIn presence.
Drive AI into Business Development
5+ years in professional services – e. g. in consulting, system integration, or in sales roles for complex products.
~ Experience leading teams or practices – you have managed people, not just projects.
~ Fluent in German and English (DACH is our home market, while we expand internationally).
